Who we are looking for:

We want people to take over a Crew Leader position within our company. Experience is preferred but not necessary and we do look for a few specific characteristics. What makes the ideal candidate?

The kind of person that laughs in the face of both the hot sun and cold rain and isnt afraid of 12 hour days (although technically we usually work about 8 or 9). The kind of employee who gets satisfaction out of a hard day’s work, especially when it’s helping out others.

You know who you are.

But we are also looking for people who are sharp and smart. You have to have the brain to match the brawn. Problem solving skills, creativity, and an aptitude for quick thinking is a must.

Finally, excellent communication and leadership skills, a drive to learn, and a motivation to help people are absolute musts..

Compensation and Job Info:

Drivers / Crew Leads Earn up to $24, avg starting wage is $17 to $20/hr PLUS TIPS
Crew Members / Helpers can earn up to $20/hr
Typical Hours 7:30 to 4:00.

Job Responsibilities:

1- Operate dump truck or roll off dumpster truck

2- Assist or Lead a crew in removal of junk from house or construction site as well as interior demolition

3- Clean up site after job completion

4- Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing; interact with customer with a courteous and positive attitude.

5- Assist at dump or donation centers with disposal

6- some days the job site can be dirty, must be comfortable with the occasional foul smell and getting your hands / cothes dirty

Job Requirements:

Because junk removal is stressful, we seek candidates with a commitment to customer service and an appreciation for variety and hustle in your job.

1- High school diploma or equivalent

2- Excellent customer service skills

3- Professional attitude and demeanor

4- Experience in the fields of general labor, landscaping, construction or warehouse helpful

5- Stamina to lift heavy items (80 lbs or more) repeatedly while climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc.

6- Good hand-eye coordination

7- Valid driver’s license and good driving record preferred but not required
